 5.59 and 5.60 Crashes

I had been using version 5.59 without issue but recently when I open the jar file in Mac machine and I create a new file, the file opens briefly and then crashes; any ideas as to why this happens. I downloaded 5.6.0 and have the same problem. On my PC, the program works correctly but not on MAC.

You can close this. No issue except for my ineptitude with my Mac machine.
