 Hi everyone,
I think oStorybook is maturing very well, with some terrific features and tools for the novelist.
However, I'm finding some display issues in the latest version of oStorybook. The embedded image below shows the timeline from the Planning dropdown menu.
There are other issues where there is insufficient room in a dialog box for the contents to be show sufficiently.
These instances only show when font sizes are increased. My screen is 2560 x 1600 resolution, and I need to increase font sizes so that I can easily see the text, and I guess others with screen resolutions above 1080p will have a similar experience.
I've embedded a screengrab of part of the screen to illustrate the situation:If I've been unclear or you need more information, please let me know and I'll do my best to provide you with what you need.
I almost forgot: I'm in MX Linux, 19.4 I'm in Australia, so there may be a delay due to time zones.

 Hi all,
although the image did embed, the forum software looks to have stripped in out through the posting process. Please let me know how I can get the image to you.

Hello,

For security reasons it is not possible to attach an image, you can use the contact address to send it by email.
Welcome to Australia.
Could you specify the version you use?

Thank you, admin!
I shall send images via email as soon as I am able.
I use V5.05.06 alpha. I have noticed the display glitches since early in the V5 release.
Cheers,
Michael P.

I tried installing oStorybook in Windows and all was mostly well. There was a display issue where in Planning | Timeline if I had a chapter title more than 21 characters long, it overflowed into the first date column, which is minor, although it would be better if I could expand the columns as if they were part of a table.
I also tried installing the Windows version in WINE 6.5 because that could well be a simpler (though inelegant) solution, but it wouldn't run following (a surprisingly smooth) install. Still, it was worth trying. (I have successfully installed and run WriteItNow which is also a java application on WINE)
Should there be things you'd like me to try, or further information you need, please let me know.
